Summary
During the week of his father's funeral, Sirius Black meets an unusual priest and offers to help write Orion Black's eulogy. At the same time, he's started texting a mysterious bass player from a pop-punk band that he accidentally swapped phones with. Summary
Sirius is a college student with friends he adores, and a life he loves. He is figuring out how to reconnect with his estranged brother when he messages a wrong number. Sirius believes in signs, and this is one of those signs. He knows this person is important some how... they just can't figure out how.
Remus is a college student trying to overcome the shit life has thrown at him. He is guarded, sarcastic, and struggles to connect with anyone but his closest friends. However when a wrong number texts him, he can't deny that he feels connected to them somehow. An invisible string is pulling them together and Remus thinks, just this once, he may give in and let life give him something good.

“Can you stop talking for one fucking minute Sirius?” Remus was no longer focused on the mess that he created. Instead he was focused on Sirius’s desperation. So he turned back to Sirius, the shattered mug still waiting to be repaired. His wand arm was still out though, and that was when Sirius moved.
In one swift movement Sirius grabbed Remus's right arm as he lowered himself down onto his knees. His right knee slamming down onto a shard of the mug. He pointed Remus's wand right at his head and grasped his lover’s wrists with both hands, steadying it. He looks Remus in his eyes, begging.
“Do it, Remus. Fucking do it.”

Sirius and Remus find themselves alone in the dorm after The Prank. Sirius just wants to make things right, in his own self-destructive way.
