Summary
"I would say good luck out there, but honestly? I hope you die screaming."
After Astarion left the party, Tav was left to wonder if being a monster was all she was good for. If being controlled by the Lord of Murder was the only destiny out there for her. And the only way to stop it all was to kill murder with her own hand.
OR
A re-telling / fix-it of if you fail the persuasion check to convince Astarion while romanced not to ascend and he permanently leaves the party, and the aftermath as Tav faces Orin once and for all.

Summary
Seven thousand spawn.
Seven thousand souls spared.
Those lives could have served a greater purpose. They could have been offered up as part of a ritualistic slaughter, had Erys not squandered the opportunity.
Bhaal was not impressed by this act of mercy to say the least, and now it was his spawn who had to pay the price.

Summary
“You lied to me,” Astarion snarled.
“I needed you safe!” Tav snapped back, and immediately knew it was a mistake.
Tav doesn't make it to the ladder in time when the party escapes the Iron Throne, and he's left behind to drown. Astarion handles this as well as could be expected-- which is to say, terribly. In which dying actually has consequences, and caring about someone means their reckless disregard for their own well-being isn't that funny anymore.
