Summary
Sergio carries his lover through the hall, down the stairs, and into the nearby park behind the hospital. There’s a family having a picnic in the distance and a person playing with their dog, the sunset illuminating all of them. The two reach the middle of the fields before Sergio stops. He bends down and carefully places Luka on the grass, then sits down himself. Under the sun rays, Luka’s hair and eyes turn golden. He’s ethereal, Sergio thinks. He moves his hand to tuck the Croatian’s hair behind his ear.
The moment Luka touches the grass, he feels free. The sunlight heals a soul that has been trapped in a desolate cell for far too long, he can finally breathe.
OR
Luka Modrić is thirty-one, at the peak of his footballing career, when he falls unconscious on the field.

Summary
Sergio Ramos doesn’t believe in any of that soulbond bullshit.
Even more now that modern football has dabbled in a lot of advanced technology, and what used to be primarily done meticulously with thousands of compatibility tests is just one scan away.
They called it the contractual psychic bond.
Luka Modrić has already been bonded twice.
By now, he should’ve been used to the ins and outs of the bond, and yet he can’t seem to control how much of Sergio’s feelings have overtaken his own.

Summary
“Anyways,” the man said with a smile. “I’m glad to see you’re so invested in this story—for better or for worse.”
A shiver ran down Lamine’s spine; he had a sinking feeling that something was about to go very, very wrong.
“As you all know,” Mr. Puyol said calmly, finally addressing the entire class, “every year, the third-year students put on a short play for the younger children at the school, retelling the legend of Sant Jordi.”
⋆｡°✩
When his third-year class is tasked with performing a play about the legend of Saint George, Lamine is cast as the famous knight, and Pau… well, Pau is the dragon. But he doesn’t mind that his former best friend is going to “kill” him on stage—after all, he already did that six months ago, when they stopped speaking.
Or,
A story in which the knight falls in love with the dragon—not the princess.

Pablo felt his face heat up as he stared at the inside, trying to make sure it was really his locker. But there was no doubt—everything in that metal box screamed his name. The books, pencils, notes, and failed tests told him this was definitely his.
And amidst all the chaos, there stood a small rose made of candy, resting calmly among the mess.

“I’ll see you next week, yeah?” Lucy spoke while packing her things away, giving Sierra a view of her without the lab coat. She wore a mix of pinks and whites, with a cardigan way too big for her, and a skirt that flowed as she moved around her things. When Sierra died, she hoped all angels looked just like her.

Michael didn’t expect the six month contract he had just signed to come with a housing crisis attached. No one in their right mind rented out a flat unit for less than a year at a reasonable price in London.
Six months would fly by soon enough, right? Renting a room in the flat of his old friend, who happened to raise his five years old daughter alone, seemed like a perfect way to save his budget.
He just didn’t know the suppressed feeling he was trying to get over from becoming part of the deal too.

—Yeah, about that. I found a lead. And I got ourselves some vials of the gas —Gavi puffed his chest and smirked proudly.
—No way! Really? Spill right now, man.
[...]
—Did you see his face? At least? Or have any guess at who that might be?
—Well no, he had sunnies on and everything. But I'm quite sure that he's the guy. The one behind everything. The Scarecrow.

“I didn’t ask,” Lamine was quick to correct, “I said I was thinking. Don’t make it a thing.”
‘Well first of all we are both guys and second of all we are best friends and third of all, why should I be an experiment for you to evaluate your girlfriend?’ Pau would’ve sounded crazier if he said this, right?
