Bucky’s heart hammers erratically in his chest. “Sam?”
“I’m think I’m...done.” He says with a note of finality, voice quavering. "I’m done, Buck. I don’t want to do this anymore. I just want to get away, far away from all of this.”
“Okay.” Bucky says, without hesitation. “Where?”
“I don’t know. Somewhere in the middle of fucking nowhere. I want to live with the fucking cows.”
“Okay.” Bucky says again, rummaging through his drawer. “Give me five minutes. I’m coming with you."
