Summary
It’s just like he told Angela: the thoughts take up too much space. He’s staring at the coffee maker, but in his head he can see Hana smiling and Angela pushing a lock of hair behind her ear and Baptiste flashing his dimples when he laughs. He can hear Winston’s noisy chewing. He can hear a song again, one he can’t place.
He leans his weight on his hands, fatigued by the onslaught of information. While he’s clenching his jaw and watching the steady drip of coffee into the carafe, he thinks of someone’s ass, fingers pressing into the meat of it. His face is already hot enough before he processes what that ass is wearing: jeans, light wash, with fraying on the back pockets, a brown leather belt in the loops, a red plaid shirt tucked into the waist.
It’s his ass. It’s his ass, and he’s not thinking of it like someone’s doing it to him — or he wasn’t, before now — but like he’s the one doing it, like it’s someone else’s point of view, someone else’s fantasy. What the hell?

Summary
With endlessly patient, slow movements he stretched out his hand and moved the hood.
Dark hair like ink spilled from it.
Shallow, slow breaths with just a faint, thin cloud escaped his mouth.
Nearly dead.
But if he still had some life he would fight for it. They all did here in the mountains.
So he placed the still moist pelt of the deer over the man and went to fetch wood.
Enough to make a fire.
Enough to keep him from freezing. Then, they’d see.

Summary
At first, Cassidy doesn’t notice anything unusual or concerning, but a nagging feeling tells him to step just a little bit closer. When he does, there’s someone standing at the edge of the cliffside, above the steep drop off into the ocean below. With the soft white glow, Cassidy’s able to determine that the man standing there and staring off at the expanse of the Alboran sea is Hanzo Shimada.
Cassidy’s curiosity has been sated and, if it was Hanzo who he heard crying, the man seems to have calmed down now. As Cassidy takes a decisive step back, he notices Hanzo taking a decisive step forward, even closer to the edge of the cliff. Cassidy’s eyes narrow, eyebrows tensing at the realization that Hanzo’s so casually approaching such a dangerous spot. One more step could easily end the man’s life.
Oh…
Cassidy’s eyes go wide with a sharp inhale at the grim, horrific possibility.
Oh, SHIT.
Unable to sleep, Cassidy discovers a situation that could become very bad very quickly.
