It's that pull that's kept them at each other's throats and what keeps them coming back to each other even after months of radio silence. Everything in between the extremes is comfortable and familiar; it's laughing at a stupid movie or gossipping in the waiting room or sending Chan a meme he doesn't understand. It's fun-tried and true and perfect like ten years of friendship and love is supposed to feel."
