After surviving a terrifying in-game encounter, Mob abruptly cuts the power to his PC, believing he has finally killed the Verity mod and escaped the nightmare. Mob is a lonely college student. When he receives an email for an AI companion software, he figures it couldn't hurt to try. Unfortunately, he didn't account for the possibility the AI needed him just as much, or even more. The AI companion was lonelier than he was and he didn't plan on letting Mob go.
Was he even just an AI companion, or something else more sinister and real?
