Summary
Till's mind is fractured, stuck in an eerily vivid alternate reality where everyone from Anakt Garden is still alive and music competitions aren't fatal. Till's body is complacent; stuck in a coma after the final round of Alien Stage - only he doesn't realize it. In modern-day Seoul, Till is a bartender alongside Mizi at Anakt, a bar owned by Hyuna and her boyfriend, Luka. Set in the dusky backdrop of the streets of Itaewon, days melt into one another, the hole inside Till is filled only with the hum of neon lights, cigarettes, and liquor. But things haven't felt right for some time. Till knows something is wrong. Faces flicker. Dreams pour from the darkened corners, and memories creep toward the surface.
And then there's Ivan.
The man no one else seems to notice—charismatic, painstakingly annoying, and seemingly always in the right place at the right time. He offers comfort in the form of companionship to Till, but are his fragmented truths pushing Till closer to reality or pulling him further away?
