Summary
Kenny wouldn’t necessarily call himself a cynic, and he liked to keep an open mind, but at the end of the day he only really believed in things he could see.
Like ghosts.
-
Just when Kenny thought his life couldn’t get any worse, he and his old friends start being literally haunted by their past, and have to reunite for one last adventure to save their souls or some lame shit like that.
Oh and also he falls in love. Somehow that’s worse than all the other crap.

Summary
It wasn’t exactly that he didn’t want to get lunch with Stan, just that he definitely wanted to catch up on what he’d been up to the last almost decade, and Kenny didn’t really know where to start.
‘So what have you been doing, Ken?’
‘Heroin mostly. I dabbled in cocaine too, and pills.’
Yeah. Because that made for such good conversation.

"The one time you’re not wearing that coat is when you decide to make snow angels?" he asked, a slightly strained smile on his face.
Kenny let his head loll to the side and laughed weakly. "I like the cold," he croaked.
Stan grabbed Kenny’s hand with a firm grip that was so warm Kenny almost gasped. "No you don’t."

Summary
Stan cut himself short, smiling as Kenny pulled out a big bottle of vodka; Kenny smiled too, with a very familiar mischievous kind of glint in his eye. "Happy birthday."
Stan reached for the bottle then into his desk drawer to pull out the plastic shot glasses he’d stolen from a bar; they were meant to be disposable but he was getting a lot of use out of them. "Have I ever told you I love you?"
Kenny grinned as he leant over Stan’s shoulder while he poured the shots; his breath tickled his cheek. "Eh one more time won’t hurt."
"I love you so freaking much dude."
"I love you too, sappy. Now come on." Kenny picked up his shot and held it out to Stan. "We’re gonna have fun tonight."

Summary
"Yeah, I’m gonna go home," Kenny said. "I’ve had my fill of pretentiousness for tonight."
"Me too," Wendy admitted. "But I don’t wanna walk home on my own."
Kenny hesitated then held a hand out to her. "I’ll take you."
