Summary
Dion awakens in the hideaway after destroying the city as Bahamut. He immediately feels that he cannot stay here, that he must go and atone for what he's done. But Joshua and Clive intercept him before he can flee and coax him back to Clive's room, where they insist that he stay. Dion cannot help but fall into the comfort of their embrace.

“Founder,” he gasps, tears welling unbidden to his eyes. “Cid.”
Cidolfus Telamon stares down at him, expression cold. He keeps a safe distance even if Clive were to stand—not that he can. He's lost all feelings in his legs.
Clive's chest heaves. “No… I…” He swallows and rasps around the deep ache in his throat, trying not to cry. “You can't be Cid. He's dead.”
“Is he, now?” Cid's achingly familiar rumble rips through Clive. The older man observes him coolly for a moment. “News to me.”

Or, a battle with Fallen tech throws Clive and Joshua five years into the past - and Clive finds himself presented with an opportunity he regrets never taking advantage of prior.

Summary
Mid finds a book that says that the flames of The Phoenix can be rekindled if he recieves essence from another being of fire. Clive finds out that in this case Joshua recieving his 'essence' would require a very intimate exchange.
Clive would do anything to give his brother more time... and Joshua would do anything to keep his brother safe in turn.
