Summary
There were whispers that Clive Rosfield was back from the dead, working with the outlaw, Cid. Many paid such whispers no mind, but after the fall of Drake’s Head, and the second sighting of another Eikon of Fire, there were those who had their suspicions.

Summary
The Hideaway, Rosaria's most popular club scene is home to a range of colorful characters. Jill Warrick, resident party girl, celebrates her best friend's new job whilist she drowns herself in alcohol to forget about the horrors of her former job. It is a night like any other, laughing amongst friends and being cheeky with the handsome bartender Cid in good natured fun. But her night of ale addled foolery is suddenly turned on its head when she bumps into a mysterious stranger that catches her off guard. The deep baritone of his voice and sweet laughter quickly enticies her.
Enter Clive Rosfield, a retired soldier now working as a freelance author where he publishes under an alias to be kept under the radar from the general public. A night out with his roommate and best friend, Gav, turns into him meeting a silver haired beauty that has him captivated and at a loss for words.
In a comedic turn of events that leads two drunken strangers to share a night they may or may not remember, their names etched into each other's flesh to act as a reminder for their chance encounter. Will they be able to seek out one another and unveil their not so secret admirer, or will it slip from their minds entirely?

I've had this idea rolling around in my head screaming at me since I played the dlc. So here I am trying to write something for the first time in twenty years (plz be nice ) We're bringing Cid back, ya'll. Five years after Drakes Head, Clive finds Cid in an unexpected place.
It was empty. Silent. Dark. Until, it wasn't. Cid’s eyes shot open with a gasp.
It felt like he had been holding his breath for eons. His lungs burned as he moved to sit up, not realizing at first that he’d woken up on a large piece of wood, his tired body half hanging off into icy cold water. The waves picked up and tossed him around violently, almost throwing him entirely into the sea. In a panic he scrambled for purchase and managed to get both of his legs back onto the wood.
“Fuuuuuuck!” he half screamed as he shook his head. He tossed it back to look at the sky in hopes to see something, anything to help him figure out where he was. Nothing but more fog and clouds were there to meet him.
A shimmer of blue light suddenly caught his eye.
Or, a late game fix-it where Cid lives, set during The Rising Tide DLC.

Once upon a lifetime ago, long before the weight of the world knew their names, the three of them played a wedding game. Joshua, not entirely grasping the significance of the bride, cried and insisted on taking on that role, for he understood at least that the bride was the most important to the groom, who was played by Clive.
Growing up, Joshua was certain that he had no right or position to object to his beloved brother marrying someone else before their departure, so that Clive wouldn't have any regrets.

That would be the end of it with Cid taking an early retirement from competing but thirteen years later and the same thing happens at a charity tourney, he's not going to take it lying down. Forcing Cid to agree to coach him took moments.
