Summary

Would he become the hero to sacrifice all to save the world? Or would he decide to be the villain and sacrifice the world to save the ones his loved? There was a story he once read of a someone who wasn't regarded as a hero. No, the knight had become what was conventionally known as a villain in order to save the one he loved.
The choice between the two wasn't going to be easy especially when the memories of a past life were slow to be remembered when he was living his new life. But...if Cid lived...it would be worth it.

Stories have been told of Leviathan, the Lost Eikon. It was curious how, in a time known as the War of the Eikons, there was one Eikon that was mysteriously absent from the conflict. Some believed that Leviathan abandoned the world, believing that it had grown too poisoned with the sins of man. Others posited that she was dead, her bloodline of Dominants wiped from the face of the earth.
They were both wrong.
Leviathan was not gone. Or dead. Merely... waiting.

Bahamut remembered.

Meanwhile, Cid has lost his self-control, and careens ever closer to the edge, wishing the world and all its evils to burn now that Clive is no longer by his side. With the Phoenix and Ramuh constantly at war with one another, Clive finds himself caught in the middle... and when Cid kidnaps Joshua, Clive has no choice but to answer the call, and see just why Cid would go through so much trouble for him - and if he has what it takes to meet Cid's demands.
