Summary
It is the same!—For, be it joy or sorrow; What was once a writer, is now a jeweler. The path of its departure still is free; The skillful Pilot's last ferry is one of himself. Man's yesterday may ne'er be like his morrow; A beautiful dove, who never found freedom in the day, now unfurls her wings in the night. Nought may endure but Mutability.

Summary
'I came to save you. I came here to meet you. So don't be afraid of this world where we'll meet, Crisostomo.' The boatman smiled, placing a kiss on the smoother man's knuckle. As the bristles of his stubble tickled those smooth fingers of his, The writer felt an intense warmth on his stomach.
At times, love will take you on the forefront of the sheer futility of it all, and yet, it will make you see how worth it everything was. When the glass breaks, the glistening sun will shine down as the cracks let the light in. The writer noticed it, how the orange sky became golden, how the sea, sand, and world felt more like a striking painting. Everything, in that golden dream, became one thing. In a scarred home, they found heaven in each-other's weary and exhausted arms. Everything was right, and glorious for just a moment.

Summary
Hindi alam ni Elias kung ano ang isasagot niya. "Pakiramdam kong para po ninyo akong nilulunod sa kadiliman."
“Kung ganon ay matagal na akong bulag, Elias” diin ni Crisostomo
(or a confession set in that one boat debate and an excessive use of drowning and sea metaphors just because Elias is a boat pilot)

Summary
When Ibarra woke up that morning to find Elias holding him tightly, the pilot's broad chest against his back, the youth wasn't even surprised anymore. With a sharp inhale, he pried the strong arms from himself so he could get up. But the sleeping Elias was not going to lose his Ibarra-pillow and his hands immediately latched onto the youth's waist, pulling the man back.

Summary
"Why?"
Drifted the voice of the man who sat opposite him. He sounded tired and his words were spoken softly, giving Elias the passing thought that the man could vanish at the faintest touch.
"So that you can leave the country."
Elias responded, facing the silhouette that was Ibarra. The man's back was to the paleness of the full moon, his features hidden by shadows casted.
"Then come with me. We now share the same fate. Here, we are both wretched. Come with me and we shall live like brothers."

Summary
...he swiftly bowed, took the boatman's hand, and placed a gentle kiss on one of his long fingers, soft lips meeting calloused hands. Ibarra looked up, "ano po pala ang inyong pangalan?"
The man shyly looked away, then cleared his throat before replying, "Elías."
Or: 4 times Ibarra kisses Elías' hand (and the 1 time he gets it in return).

Summary
Ashes turn to ashes and dust turns to dust
But, before this body reverts to what it once was,
It first turns back to who it loves.Death is irreversible, but apparently, time may not be; after a bloody encounter at a lake under moonlight, she who shines above red-hued water takes pity on a mourning man and the wounded body he grieves that stumbles through the woods. She gives them both opportunities for closure, a goodbye — and before they know it, Crisostomo Ibarra and Elías get to talk to the past self of their familiar through a dream. But what’s meant to close the book of their short-lived tale instead makes them believe they can use it to add more chapters, and in conversation with their past selves, who’re clueless of what’s to come, they attempt to rewrite their story.
But history cannot be altered; fate is far too often tempted.
