“Everyone ready?” Trinity turned over her shoulder to look at the backseat where Samira, Mel, and Victoria were sitting shoulder to shoulder. They all looked back at her with varying degrees of nervousness.
Going to Donnie’s halloween party as a group had been Trinity’s idea. When he’d told her about the party, she’d immediately known that she had to get her friends to do a group costume. And maybe friends was pushing it, but they’d all been working together for two months now and Trinity had made it her mission to get them to socialize more. It still surprised her that they all went along with her, though. Making friends hadn’t always been her strong suit, she’d always been more likely to annoy someone than to convince them to hang out with her.
When no one objected or suddenly realized they’d forgotten something upstairs, Trinity turned to Dennis, who was in the driver’s seat, “Alright, down the yellow brick road.”
The gang goes to a halloween party!
