Summary
It is a singular experience, to have been unmade as they were, and to have been reborn anew, as some rawer, wounded version of themselves, to have had, thereafter, to claw their way back to humanity—or to begin to, in Ana’s case. She still feels a wild thing, sometimes, cornered and injured, ready to lash out. Genji is much further along in his journey than she.
Or,
Ana sees how far Genji has come, in the time since Overwatch fell, and cannot help but draw a comparison to her own situation.

Summary
She does not stand tall, she slouches, like she did when she was still a teenager, and studiously avoids looking at her mother as she grabs her mug and leaves the room. Because she does not look, she does not see the way that her mother is slouched over, also, the ways in which their conflict has made her, too, grow smaller.
Or,
Another rumination over the space between an apology and forgiveness.

Summary
“Nenet,” Angela repeats, voice softening ever so slightly as she looks at the dog, who perks up visibly at the attention. She bends down to look their new companion in the eye, “What has my silly wife gotten you into?”
Or,
Fareeha decides to adopt a dog, and Angela is still unsure as to whether or not they're ready to be responsible for another being, canine or otherwise.
