    There’s a new web-slinging superhero in Tokyo, but as far as Megumi’s concerned, it isn't worth dwelling on.
    He has no time to dwell on anything, really, between starting life at Jujutsu College and struggling with everything from increasing amounts of homework to dealing with a ragtag group of nosy friends, an overbearing father figure, a steadily worsening caffeine addiction, a bizarre amount of stalking, supervillains attacking the city, and a roommate whose smile is a bit too captivating.
    On top of that, there’s probably something up with Itadori. But Megumi doesn’t want to think about his new roommate and best friend too much— well, more than he does already.
    It’s all slowly driving him crazy. And for some reason, he might be starting to feel the same way about a certain superhero he keeps running into…

    “Why don’t you want me?” Yuuji interrupts, voice small and at odds with how much larger than life he usually is. “Is it my family?” Yuuji continues, a tremble beginning in his voice. “Is it me? I know I’m not as smart as Kamo but…” he exhales, looking up at the ceiling, a single tear falling down the side of his face.

    “I loved you. I love you. I’d be so good to you,” he hiccups, tears now spilling down his cheeks. He raises a hand to roughly wipe away his tears, over and over as new tears replace old ones until he gives up and holds his face in his hands.

    A pinky promise made under the cover of night seals Yuuji and Megumi together from childhood to adulthood.

    The story of how they grow up together, grow apart and find each other once more.

The man cracks an adorable, perfect smile and Megumi nearly loses his mind. He extends a hand with an easy grin, his honey-brown eyes glittering as he says, “It’s nice to meet you, Dr. Fushiguro.”
    Megumi takes his hand, startled by the firm, assertive shake Yuji gives it. “You as well, Mr. Itadori.”
    Yuji scoffs, “Blegh. Please just call me Yuji.”

     

    A meet-cute between Megumi Fushiguro, a young, boring veterinarian, and Yuji Itadori, a famous MMA fighter, leads to both men learning about love, lust, loss, and everything in-between.
