Evangeline had always loved books. After her parents' death, it was only natural that she would inherit her father's bookshop. It used to be a cozy old thing, all dark colours and dim lighting.
But, no matter how lovely, that simply wasn't Evangeline's style.Jacks didn't know what brought him there, to this atrociously colourful bookstore. It was full of decorative plans and, at least in his opinion, unpalatable wallpaper patterns.
And why is the lady who owns the store so insistent on changing his mind about romance novels?
Better yet, why was he willing to let her?
