“Down here! Could you help me out a sec? Oh sh—”

Summary
You opened it there and offered him the first sip, penitent follower that you were, and only after he indulged you, the sweet flavor bursting on his tongue, did you drink. He watched your lips purse around the top of the bottle, greedy in the way you swallowed, the bob in your throat bouncing as you closed your eyes and released an almost imperceptible shudder. A blood red and thin stream of liquid dripped from your mouth before you wiped it off with the back of your hand.
You paused when you saw him watching you. He knew his grin was stretched a little wider. He did not know whether you could tell that it was stretched a little tighter.
The path to revenge is littered with regret, but you are a mistake he is unwilling to make.

Summary
Coriolanus closed his eyes and finally let his mind wander to where he refused to let it go throughout the night.
The existence of Lucy Gray stunned him. She stood on that stage like she was born to be on it. Every light shone for her, her very being deserving of every person’s attention. And her voice; it both soothed and riled him, notes and keys flitting every which way. If he could hear her again, he’d memorize her words and melodies, keep it safe in his brain where he could retrieve it whenever he wanted.
He would be ticked at how forcefully she consumed his thoughts, if not for the fact that she had looked so gratefully at him at the end. Like he was her savior.
Coriolanus could get used to that feeling.
Coriolanus and Lucy Gray in another life, in another world, following the steps to a dance they've danced before.

Summary
Hermione Granger had never expected to call herself an athlete. She had certainly never meant to dedicate her university years to sport. She had planned to write for literary magazines, compete for research positions, and maybe get a part-time job in the library. Slipping sideways into the world of Division 1 rowing had never been in the cards.
But that's exactly what happened and, two years in, she doesn't regret a moment of it, steep though the learning curve has been. So when she's given the opportunity to win the coveted varsity coxswain seat, she seizes it with both hands, poncy, walk-on-hating twat of a varsity stroke be damned.
//
In which Hermione is a walk-on coxswain, Draco is a recruited rower and the son of an Olympic rowing legend, and the blood politics of the wizarding world map worryingly well onto the dynamics of collegiate rowing.- Language:

It’s the smell of it. Chemical. Bitter and sharp as a raw edge on metal. Just a hint of it as she passes him at breakfast — but enough to stop her dead, mid-step.

Continued fistfights land him back in the DMLE’s holding cells. He waits out the holding period, needles Potter, and gets released, on repeat.

Because he’s going to be the guinea pig for their newest project; a rehabilitation program headed up by the one and only Hermione Granger. He gets to learn about the Muggle world, attend sessions with a Mind Healer, and try to keep his nose clean.
Everyone seems hellbent on his redemption.
Draco tries to decide whether or not he’s worth it.
--
“You’ll do this.” Potter stated, standing. Suddenly. Rapidly. He unfurled, and Draco saw the hardened Auror persona, the defensive man, clearer than anything else he had seen in months — years. “You know why, Malfoy?”
Draco narrowed his eyes as Potter leaned over the table.
“Because you owe her.”

Summary
When you put down your quill, you remain the same opinionated, intelligent, determined person who writes me these letters. You don’t hide yourself; the world has hidden you.
As for me—I set mine down and pick up a mask, and I wear it until I can’t remember how to take it off.
Do I hate what I’ve become? Maybe. Does that matter? Will that absolve me?
Am I fooling myself or you?
