It was nearly night, if I recall correctly, and Lockwood and Co (and Kipps) was appreciating its time to relax when Flo stomped her way into 35 Portland Row covered in about the amount of grime you’d expect. She swung open the door without even bothering to ring the bell, shoved her key to the house into her pocket, and started mumbling something about a relicman taking advantage of her hard work when she left to go take a piss and how she hoped old Suzy or whoever woke up early and strangled that arsehole the second he turned around and how she spent hours looking for that stupid fucking thing in the first place and it was hers fair and square.
Which didn’t make much sense to us either.
