A soft, unexpected giggle escaped Felix. He found him cute, now that he could believe the nervousness was real “Silly alpha.”
He watched Hyunjin’s brain seemingly short-circuit, his mouth parting slightly. Felix held out his hand “Give me your phone.”
Hyunjin, still dazed, wordlessly handed over his unlocked phone. Felix quickly input his number before handing it back and beginning to gather his things.
“Text me with plans for a real date. If you’re serious.” He stood to leave but paused, turning back with a smirk that made Hyunjin’s breath catch.
He leaned in slightly, his rain fresh scent mingling with Hyunjin’s honest warmth “Oh, and Hyunjin? Scholars aren’t really my type.” He let the words hang for a beat, his eyes glinting “I’m more into bad boys.”
Then he walked out, leaving a stunned Hyunjin alone in the greenhouse, surrounded by the scent of earth and flowers, wondering if he was still dreaming.

Summary
Felix never thought he'd be back in South Korea, much less to get married, and much less to get married to Hwang Hyunjin. But family is family and shady businesses are shady businesses, so what if his new husband absolutely despises his guts? Besides, as the ambassador of things that are not what they seem, Felix knows better than to take everything at face value.
Being told his whole life he's worthless and defective has taken a toll on Hyunjin's outlook in life, and for sure he will not be a submissive spouse to some stuck-up-alpha. He's ready to fight everything... except, apparently, being treated with basic decency and genuine care.
When two children that were never good enough find out they complete each other, things are bound to get rocky for those willing to treat them as mere assets.

Summary
There is a theory, particularly beloved by very serious and profoundly delusional people, that at the beginning of everything certain atoms found themselves inconveniently attached. Then the Big Bang happened, which solved nothing at all, and the universe expanded, as universes are known to do, scattering them across distances best described as excessive, neatly separating what some would later insist on calling soulmates.
It seems the universe has been trying to correct that ever since.
