“Did you just recite Shakespeare to me, Nicholas Luke Nelson?” Charlie giggles in disbelief. He squeezes Nick’s hands, lets go, then leisurely leads his own ones up to the nape of his neck.
“Well, a few days ago I saw you with Romeo and Juliet in your hands so I – to be honest, I googled romantic quotes from it and I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to say one of the ten that I had memorised. And just now, this was it. Because we were holding hands, you know,” He explains, too detailed, because he’s antsy. Charlie knows.
But Jesus, this boy is an angel sent straight from heaven. He learned Shakespeare extracts for Charlie. He’s so unreal, so unbelievably awesome. Nobody would even be remotely surprised to learn that Charlie is enamoured of him.
