Summary
It’s 3 months after the events of At World’s End, and Barbossa and the crew of the Black Pearl have returned to Tortuga for a resupply and a bit of R&R. Some of the crew head into town, and Barbossa decides to sit on the beach, drink some rum, and try to figure out his next move. There he happens to meet Margaret Smyth, a traveling merchant. They strike up a conversation, and this unlikely pair ends up enjoying one another’s company.
