Izuku puts his life on hold to move his mother up north on doctor’s orders. It's hopefully just a temporary measure - except he keeps finding reason upon reason to stay. In which Izuku avoids his feelings, Katsuki flirts by cooking, and everyone is rooting for them. Caring and community really can make a difference. Magic/Creatures!AU.

Summary
Kirishima takes a sip of his drink, and he keeps talking when Izuku doesn't immediately answer. “What if I had come in here and told you all about his cool new boyfriend?”
Something in Izuku wants to say it aloud. He's not sure he ever has. He rarely admits it to himself. “I'd be devastated - but it's not like I have any claim to what he does with his time.”
Kirishima nods. “You're right - you don't.”
Izuku blinks. Two things slot into place for him:
One: Kirishima is a terribly perceptive son of a bitch.
Two: He’s not here because he cares about seeing Izuku at all.
“Oh my god,” Izuku says. “You hate my guts, don't you?”
Izuku and Katsuki break up every time Izuku gets a job outside of Japan - and seem to always find each other in the interim. It's easy until it's not.
Their friends are sick of it. Call it meddling - but really, everyone deserves to be happy, in the end.

Noya makes grabby hands in Asahi’s direction. “Nuh uh, no backing out now. You can’t talk yourself out of giving it to me right in front of me, Asahi, c’mon.”
Asahi relinquishes the box.
The ribbon is shiny and soft but Noya’s patience has never been a virtue of his; he yanks the ribbon off and flings the lid open. Inside, nestled in a soft bed of black fabric, is a shiny gold key. There’s a tag attached to it. Noya lifts it up.
The tag spells out Asahi’s full name in Asahi’s neat, blocky handwriting, and there's a little doodle of a house right next to it. Noya has to catch his breath. “Is this - are you giving me a key to your house?”
Noya meets Asahi's family, looks the future right in the eye, and totally for sure has this whole relationship thing down. Right? Right. No problem. (Another step towards a future trip to Egypt.)
