Summary
Lisa, the image. Lisa, the romantic. Lisa, the wistful adult, so self-possessed despite her youthful fervor for life. Lisa, the living, breathing human being, who Rosie knows more intimately than possibly anyone else on the planet — yet feels so far-away, so made-up, face cold upon Rosie’s touch.
She has to leave at some point. Slip from under the covers and tell Lisa everything she feels until they see each other in person again — it’s a mess, their schedules, in this economy. It’ll be a long time, of flights and appearances and writings and FaceTime calls at night (or daytime, wherever Lisa is).
A thought materializes in Rosie’s skull; how long, exactly, would they be in the dark?
Rosé contemplates several aspects of her life.

Maybe he is a little bit smitten with her– but who wouldn’t be, especially after you take her to meet your parents face-to-face for the first time and you catch her, in your kitchen, dancing with your mom to that Otis Redding song— the way you once did, all those years ago?
Or,
Jane and Lucas have a knack for intertwining music with the memories of a few people held dearly to them.

"Guess who." Will's hands, large and callused yet soft and gentle, clasp lightly around Lucas's eyes.
Lucas smiles, pausing before leaning backward against Will. “Oh, I have no idea, whatsoever– maybe that it’s that one nice-looking artist guy, with the bowl cut? Y’know, the one and only?”

Summary
Save for the first two months before school, right before she turned 13, Lisa has no memory of being in Korea where she wasn’t fascinated by Chaeyoung, lured in by the ambiently sad sweetness in Chaeyoung’s eyes and on her tongue—the teasing and the “come to the river with me” and “look at the moon” and “be my best friend?” and “be my girlfriend?” and “I love you.”
Or, rural bumpkin Lisa has her heart broken by not one, but two wealthy Korean-New Zealanders; first as a child and second as a grad student.
Title from the Turnover song.

Summary
“No friends allowed, only partners,” the guy says in English, pointedly, probably so Megan understands she is not wanted here. So oh — this is like an exclusive, invite-only party. Megan is going to kill Lara.
Pretty girl glances at her, and does the unthinkable: she doubles down.
Her fingers shift and interlock with Megan’s. She snips it shortly, but Megan knows this one from K-dramas — she just said girlfriend.
Or: Megan sneaks into the wrong party. Now she's a pawn in cultural club politics, and fake-dating the prettiest, most intimidating girl she's ever met. This is all Lara's fault, of course.

Megan takes a sip of her drink, humming into Yoonchae’s ear. “I think you’re missing an article. You know, like, ‘the.’”
Yoonchae finally turns to look at her, reflexively quoting their lyric: “You know, like, the boba tea?”
And Megan backs up just enough to wink and take another sip and Yoonchae wants to taste. You know, like. To prevent some of that sugar from entering a body already too sweet for its own good, or something.
“Exactly,” Megan beams.
Or: Yoonchae wants to kiss Megan and crashes out in two languages.

Sophia Laforteza’s life changed completely the moment her mother walked into her room and caught her making out with her best friend Lara.
From that day on, Sophia was seen as sick by her deeply religious family, and was even forced to attend church.
Little did they know, what was meant to be torture was actually a delight for the Philippine girl — because that was where she could always watch and secretly desire Daniela Avanzini, the beautiful and charming wife of the reverend.Bookmarked by rajberrysmoothie (fentybeauties)

Summary
Being a student at a competitive arts-focused university, Megan’s life is a blur of choreography, critique, and competition—where sleep is optional and perfection is expected. She doesn’t have time for distractions, let alone nightlife.
But when her friends drag her out after a grueling rehearsal, she trades her overdue essay for a tight tank top and a wild night out.
She just wanted to dance it off.
Then she saw her.
The DJ behind the booth wasn’t the friend she expected—it was someone new. Devastatingly gorgeous. All dark eyes, honey-warm skin, and a voice that thrummed like bass through the floor. Every beat she dropped was a promise. Every glance, a challenge.
Megan doesn’t usually chase anything more than a one-night stand. But tonight? She’s ready to break her own rules.
Because this DJ isn’t just spinning tracks—she’s pulling Megan in, one smirk at a time.
And Megan definitely didn’t want to leave without a taste.
But one missed goodbye sparks a misunderstanding that pulls them apart—Lara convinced it was just a fleeting encounter, Megan longing for something more.
Will these two strangers ever find a way to work it out?
