She leaned against the door and pressed her ear to it, instantly making out the distinct cries of a little girl inside. It didn’t sound like Erica. She reached for the doorknob and felt something wet.

Mike did not dare glance to his right, but he could feel Will’s gaze piercing the side of his face.
“...Why not?” Will finally offered, his gaze flitting to look up at the ceiling.
Mike chews on the bottom of his lip. “I mean…Why would you want to deal with it again?”
“Nobody wants to deal with this, Mike,” He stated, voice strong and stern, “...But…After everything that’s happened, and everybody who’s been affected by it…I don’t think we could just leave again…It affects everybody…And we have to stop him.”
