It's been two weeks since The Party defeated Vecna, rescued Holly, Derek, and the other kids from the Abyss, and destroyed the Upside Down. They're now grappling with the aftermath of losing Eleven, who sacrificed herself to prevent Dr. Kay and the military from using her blood for their sick experiments to make more monsters. After two days of being interrogated by Dr. Kay and the military who were demanding and questioning about Eleven's whereabouts until Dr. Owens, along with U.S Marshals, FBI and Army CID agents came in to arrest Dr. Kay, Sullivan including the soldiers and MPs under them, Outside of Hawkins dozens of factions in the D.O.D and D.O.E working against Eleven, along with other government officials who were involved were also arrested.
A month later, thanks to Nancy and Murray's journalistic abilities, an article exposed decades of state-sponsored child abuse, human rights violations, and war crimes, igniting global outrage. As the trials for Dr. Kay, Sullivan, and the others began, Mike and The Party came together to support each other while grieving Eleven, while Hopper convened a town hall meeting in Hawkins as residents were angry and had questions about what's been going on in their town for years. -

This is what I wish would happen.
Such as Hopper not being a dick to Kali, and the rest of the parents learn what is happening. Joyce cares about he oldest son. The painting lies exposed; the hospital attack is more realistic. Characters in danger, and we have some character deaths.
P.S. The first few chapters are kind of in episode format, but I stopped and chose to write it how I want, and not limit it to a theoretical TV episode time slot.

Everything sucks.
Hawkins is a fuckass town in bumfuck nowhere Indiana with nothing to do and no one living there. A population of nobodies in constant decline, some years steeper than others with some causes more... supernatural than others.
Mike can't say he particularly cares much. People are people, his friends are his friends, and his family is his family. Don't need to care about much else. He doesn't mind the fact there's nothing to fucking do in Hawkins, Indiana anymore. It's a good sign actually! A Hawkins with too much going on means inter-dimensional, government meddling bullshit. So this is great, actually! Really great... Super great... Yeah...
There's nothing weird about anything in Hawkins anymore, back to how its always been and always will be. A small town of solitude. The lab shut down years ago and after the mall went out in a blaze of glory there's not much else to worry about.
No one's the wiser when Will and Jane spend the summers with him. No one's the wiser when they visit the Ives.
Because everything is normal, just like before. They're all normal people living in a normal town.
This is just how small towns are, ya know?
