Summary
The last second is nothing but horror and agony, as the coffee splatters forward with a flip that would make any gymnast proud and onto their leg and over the ground. They let out a string of curses that would make Ren blush under any other circumstances, immediately shaking their leg like it'll do them any good, sending drops flying onto Ren's clothing.
"Shit," their voice is surprisingly deep, the word hissed out as their eyes lock yellow-gold onto Ren's. "What did I ever do to you, asshole? A guy can't walk the halls without being assaulted now?"
"No," Ren's mouth works quickly, and when his brain catches up, he blanches. "Wait, I mean yes! Sorry, god, I'm so sorry!"
