Just to be sure though, Jay keeps an eye on that spot, waiting in bated breath. Sure enough, not even a minute later, the same head of hair pops up, and Jay manages to match stares with a pair of brown eyes. They widen in recognition, and the kid sits down almost immediately.
The whole situation is just so laughable, Jay snorts a mouthful of coffee through his nose. Just so you know, the feeling of iced caffeine shooting through your nasal cavity is very painful, Jay would not recommend it.
“How cute. He’s like a meerkat or something.” Heeseung remarks. His hand comes up from under the table and he rests his cheek on it, looking thoughtfully over the younger trainee.

Summary
There was once an old Therian myth about a strong, swift-footed huntress. She refused to marry a man if he wasn't able to beat her in a foot race. Sensing that it was impossible for him to win, one of her suitors had prayed to the goddess of love and was given three golden apples. During the race, he had thrown them one-by-one and the huntress couldn't resist picking them up. In the end, he had won and taken her hand in marriage.
So, there came a tradition to throw a golden apple at someone who you wanted to propose to, with the hope that the goddess of love would bless the marriage.
And somehow, Fluixon was the last to learn of that little anecdote and the fact that he was currently engaged with Saparata because, of course he was. The question is, will he be able to figure it out while battling past demons and not doom the marriage before it even started?
