You did good" He slides that hand down to the small of his back where his shirt rides up, slipping a hand up it, thumbing the ridges of his back. Finney presses his forehead tight to the concrete, eyes shut, still sobbing silently. He can't fully articulate how long it takes before The Grabber drifts back upstairs, until his hand is gone. It feels like it's still there. But eventually, he uncurls, redresses, and cries a lung out.
No one can hear him.

Her parents had flown her all over the country to try and figure out what was wrong with her, why she couldn’t transform. No one had any solutions. And one lycanologist had told her that she might never wolf out.
Wonderful. So she’d forever be a disappointment, an outcast among an already outcasted group.
