Francis proceeded with his speech. ‘I didn’t see you as a burden then, in the sick bay, and my feelings did not change when you were allowed to move to Ross’s cabin. Neither did they in London. I wanted the best for you, hence my assumption the best lay in your family nest. Now I know I was grievously mistaken, you saw to it, my knowing of it, and I ask you here. Would you stay with me?’

‘For as long as you like. I would take you indefinitely if I knew it was your heart’s desire.’

Таким образом выходила следующая реальность, напоминавшая больше театральное представление и ворочающая Юрин мозг на раскаленной сковороде, как Kaiserschmarrn. Ситуация складывалась из следующего:
а) Гром, Константин — одна единица реквизита,
б) Смирнов, Юрий — одна единица реквизита, он же исполнитель главной роли, он же первый зритель,
в) куртка кожаная — одна единица реквизита,
г) ванна в квартире Грома — одна единица реквизита,
д) маленькое платье, черное — одна единица реквизита,
е) разбросанные в пространстве и времени сцены — три единицы реквизита, где большее число страниц сценария оказались в мусорке.
Юра не понимает, куда эта ситуация его приведет. -

юра сам спрашивает.

ведун смотрит на него, и во взгляде нет привычной тяжести или ожидания — только неродная, искренняя веселость, будто глаза и мимические мышцы отвыкли ее испытывать.
— словам, что я хочу восстановить законного наследника на трон, ты не поверишь?
юра качает головой.
нет-нет.
не поверю.
ведун хмыкает и будто расслабляется: лицо под случайные солнечные лучи подставляет, шею обнажает. вокруг шеи бежит цепочка из плюща. амулет, наверное.
— и правильно сделаешь.
