Summary
The first one who had spoken in a soft was tall- a bit taller than Ichika, and was dressed in a maid-like outfit. Her sky blue eyes looked mischievous yet kind- and what looked like wisps floated near her head. When Ichika blinked, they were gone.
The other was around Saki’s height, and had blood splattered across her face for some reason. Her hair was a silvery color, and her eyes were the greenest green Ichika had ever seen in a person. Her bangs were messy and spiky, and one of her scarred hands came up to fix it a little. But, one of the first things she noticed were a pair of wolf ears on top of her head, and a tail swaying slightly behind her legs. How was that possible…? They had to be fake, right?
“U-Um.” Saki stammered, seemingly forgetting what she was going to say. “H-Hi! We’re lost. Can you… help us?”
OR: Ichika is stuck in a cottage for a month with her childhood friend and two people who are maybe probably planning to murder them.

Ichika sighed as she stepped back, looking over the kitchen counter. Rice? Check. Shrimp? Check. Pan? Check. She quickly took a moment to pray to Hatsune Miku to make sure she wouldn’t accidentally burn down the apartment while her parents were away.
It was winter, so naturally, people got sick. Somehow, Saki, Honami, and Shiho had all gotten sick in the same week, and they all seemed bummed out about it.
So, why not cheer them up with a home cooked meal?
The guitarist was very aware of her cooking abilities. Her… horrible, horrible cooking abilities. However, it seemed easy to make shrimp-fried rice. How hard could it be?

“Ichika-chan…?”
Ichika doesn’t have time to explain. She grabs Honami’s arm. “Run.”
And that’s how Ichika has ended up in this situation: barreling through an empty ship with her girlfriend at her side, frantically dashing to the engine room before they all die (and by they all, she means the two of them and also Mr. Apples, who would arguably be the saddest death of all).
“What are we running from?” Honami shouts behind her, her hand interlocked with Ichika's and Mr. Apples hanging onto her shoulder for dear life.
“Evil space plant!” lchika yells back. “You can tell from the shapes of the midrib and veins that it’s a— ack, no time to explain!” Ordinarily, Ichika would love to go on a long tangent about the types of life in this galaxy that could kill them all in a heartbeat, but when they are actively a heartbeat away from being killed, maybe it’s time to save her breath.
(She’ll tell Honami all about it later. If they survive.)

"I know that, silly," Saki says, even having the gall to roll her eyes. "What's so wrong with being jobless? It can't be that much different than working at McDonald's."
Ah. So this is what it is. Sheer, unadulterated ignorance, coming from another one of her girlfriends. Are fast food employees thought so little of in society?
