Most days, Dennis would say he didn’t believe in God if anyone had asked. Still, Dennis Whitaker couldn’t help but believe in God when he saw his mother being ushered to Central 9 in the Pitt. Not the benevolent God that he’d seen reflected in his studies, but the vicious, unforgiving God that he had been raised with. The God who would punish Dennis for daring to live in sin. There was no running from the Lord’s vengeance– his family had taught him so.
Dennis ran anyway.

It's only been two weeks since he murdered Vanessa Fisk, since he was dragged across the blocks by the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and brought to his final resting place; not a grave, not the Hudson, but Frank Castle's lair. And he's not even dead. Sure, the gaping hole (put back together by that nurse with the steady hands and the big eyes) burns and itches beneath the gauze, he's bruised all over and another of his teeth is loose, but he's alive. Alive because Darevil—Matt Murdock—wants him like that.
The point is that he wants you, that voice in the back of his head murmurs, all sweet and bitter.

“Leaky,” Rocky said. Grace shuddered. His vagina clentched down on nothing. Rocky's interface spread his lips again to follow where his slick gathered and tapped over his hole. “Rocky go inside, question?”
“Uh, I’m not—”
“For science,” Rocky said. He took Grace’s silence for assent and probed back inside. He moved too rough and shoved the finger all the way inside and then pushed up hard, as if trying to push the finger through Grace’s body.
