But of course Lestat loved shedding blood and shearing through neck muscle and he loved power. He enjoyed his height over them, despite the fact objectively he wasn't even that tall. He enjoyed the sound of his voice whether it was babbling or shouting. He enjoyed the fact he could hand her a musket, teach her how to use it, and know that she couldn't blow his head off with it. She wouldn't even try.

Curious if she’ll receive a different answer, Claudia poses the same question she asked Louis to Lestat. A little sketch of Claudia and Lestat’s early relationship, set somewhere in Episode 4 pre-lover’s lane.
