Summary
There are six individual pieces of evidence they have laid before them. Ghost, the only possible mole, the only one with no alibi, with a checkered background, no loyalty to the military, and worst of all, the only one out of them who was calling an encrypted number, over and over and over and over.
There is a mole in the 141, and all signs point to it being Ghost. Soap is left, choosing between his family, his team, his life— or Ghost.

Summary
dark purple, green and yellow at the edges like watercolour, the bruises circle his wrists, smudged like watercolour over pale skin. ghost pulls both sleeves to his forearms, and crosses him, dares him to say anything.
“they’re from the mission,” ghost says, voice tough.
“look me in the eyes when you say it next time, maybe i’ll believe you. lock the door.”
if you’re raised with an angry man in your house,
there will always be an angry man in your house.
you will find him even when he is not there.
and if one day you find that there is
no angry man in your house—
well, you will go find one and invite him in!Series

Summary
The stupid bit is, Johnny doesn’t even know what they’re fighting about.
But all their arguments, no matter how they start, end the same way— Ghost refuses to speak to him, refuses to look at him, until Soap’s done bearing his soul and has finally tired of trying to explain to Simon what he’s thinking.
Finally, it comes to a head.

Summary
“go to hell,” ghost spits, hard and final. soap’s barely ever seen price like this— for a man who’s spent his entire career controlling his temper, honing it into single, murderous moments, he’s baring over riley in the helicopter like he’s about to throw him out.
—
soap finds a man he doesn’t recognise running from price’s office, covered in bruises and stains that say exactly what happened to him all by themselves. its just a matter, then, of finding out his name, finding out what happened to him, no matter how little he wants to tell it himself.

Summary
When Soap is cornered by a Konni officer, the last thing he expects is to be saved by a man he doesn't recognize. Before he gets the chance to thank him, he collapses dead-- the only thing on his person a note addressed to 141's very own Simon Riley, urging the Ghost to "tell him". Who or what he's telling, Soap isn't sure, but the strange man isn't a good omen.
Ghost would never betray the task force. At least, that's what Soap would like to think; it's what keeps him talking to Simon, silently hoping for an admission. It doesn't come, but the more he finds out about the strange man, the more he finds out about Ghost-- and the more complicated things become.
