It's been nearly a century since a nuclear apocalypse devastated the population of Earth. It's been nearly 75 years since the vampires, led by the three remaining Original siblings, were defeated in a war with the united clans of the Grounders. No one anticipated the stir that the arrival of the Skaikru had on the vampire community. In particular, one girl named Lydia has caught the eye of the last remaining leader of the vampire outcasts. It helps that she bears a resemblance to a line of vampires with an interesting history: the Petrovas. Now, it's a mad power grab for all sides to get their hands on the doppelgänger, fresh from the Ark, who could prove the spark that reignites an old war.
Set after the second season of The 100, and midseason four of TVD. Timeline later explained in the story.
