Another small victory for Lex Luthor. Clark promises himself this will be the last one. He sighs again, pulling himself out of his head, feeling disoriented, before his eyes land on the dog-eared page he last left his book on, picking it up. He glances at the first words his eyes land on, although he should really go back a few pages; none of the words had sunk in the moment he picked it up that night.
