Summary
The story happens in the early 23rd century, when the current political system has collapsed due to the depletion of resources and the deterioration of the environment. The world is occupied by a couple of military organizations, who always fight with each other for the limited resources and lands. At the beginning of our story, our protagonist, David Beckham, the outstanding and genius aviator, the captain of the fourth column of the military organization "Free League", has just applied to retire to his superior officer.

The story was first published after the 2006 World Cup, when Beckham declared that he would give up the captain of English National Team.
This is one of my favorite fan-fiction, and I sincerely hope that you would love it as well.
