Henry’s body is betraying him, and it scares him. Something has made his body its home. New urges overwhelm him. It pulls at him to walk through the gate and not stop until the thing is sated.
One night, he gets up and leaves for the forest.
Hans hasn't seen Henry since he left their bed. Days are passing, with everyone none the wiser. The game master found the remains of his clothes in a clearing. Shredded, but not bloody. The mystery doesn't concern most of the city. They are more interested in the rumour about a massive white stag with golden antlers haunting the forest. During what was supposed to be a relaxing hunt, Hans encounters a threat he is wholly unprepared for. Just when things seem most dire though, he's saved by an unexpected champion: a lone wolf. Once the danger's passed, the beast even leads Hans to safety before mysteriously vanishing.
Normally, Hans wouldn't think much of it. But now, he can't stop seeing the wolf everywhere he goes. The creature seems to be stalking him; to what end, he can't decide.
The one thing he knows for certain, however - Henry is nowhere to be found.
