Summary
Sherlock is back from the dead but he has no memory of John or their past intimate relationship. Mycroft had convinced the both of them that they should just go their separate ways, as John is now engaged to Mary, and both men had agreed initially. But despite this, both men can't help but continue to be drawn towards each other.

In his head, John knows it would be best to move on, as Mycroft said. He has Mary now, and Sherlock… John shakes his head. He’s cried enough over that idiotic man. And yet, as John glances over at Mary and at the engagement ring on the hand wrapped around her coffee cup, he feels like this is wrong. It all feels so wrong. Why is he sitting on some bench at some park when Sherlock is out there? Alive and breathing?

John felt his face reddening as he lined up the shot and took a few photos. He shook his head slightly, his heart pounding as he switched apps, brought up the photos, chose the best one, tapped out a quick message and pressed send.
He didn't receive a reply for five minutes. When the reply did come, he frowned slightly.
>> Welllll? Im waiting lol
He checked the chat with Steve and the photo wasn't there. He was sure he'd sent it. He had a sudden sick, sinking feeling in his gut.
