Summary
When Izuku arrives at the flying arena, he finds only devastation anywhere he looks. But nothing breaks him more than the sight of Kacchan’s body lying as a ragdoll on the grass. No movement, no breathing, no pulse. No life. As Izuku falls into a pit of despair, sorrow and regret, All For One presents him with a solution.
Giving One For All to him in exchange for Kacchan’s life.
Izuku is known as a selfless person by everyone he’s ever met; that offer should be out of the question. But the agony is so suffocating and Kacchan’s eyes are so stiff and emotionless and so not Kacchan that he decides he’s tired of being the perfect hero.
He just wants his Kacchan back.

Somewhere in Satoru's drawer (he couldn't entirely get rid of it, it was too dear to him, especially with all of the memories and conversations with his one and only it held), laid an old phone. It still worked, the exchange of texts messages reminding him of how things were. The number still existed, but it would never text him back ever again. Sometimes, late at night, Satoru liked to read them all again, a reminiscent of his youth. And on a few rare occassions, he'd text it again, he knew he wouldn't receive a reply, it was a phone from the early 2000's, no one was crazy enough to keep it. Until one night, Suguru's old number replied.
Or, satosugu, but told through texts messages.

Tanjirou promptly chokes.

He is not expecting Tomioka.
He is also not expecting to let him allow Rengoku be close to him.
He finds more about Tomioka during those a nights than he ever has in the past years.
