Summary
Miyata and Ippo, two very serious boxers, take a small break during road work that leads to some very serious violations of Kamogawa Gym policies.
---
Ippo liked him a lot, and he didn’t want to give up on whatever was going on between them so easily. If that meant he had to keep it quiet for years and years, so be it. That’s why Ippo is so completely shocked when Miyata tugs on his wrists and shoves them both into an old storage closet in the gym one Friday afternoon after training is through.

“But you know where I live, apparently,” Neil says.
Todd gives an almost comforting smile. “Of course I do.”
(Neil and Todd reunite a second time. What has happened between these years, and what set them both on this path?)

Summary
Neil always woke up earlier than Todd. He woke up at around 6 AM, a habit he couldn’t shake. He’d shuffle about the room, as quietly as possible, pulling on a sweater and some pants. Then, he’d sit at his desk, and in the dim light of his desk lamp, he’d write. Slowly, as the hour passed, Todd would wake to the sound of the typewriter keys being pressed, slowly and delicately.
The only times Todd woke up before Neil was on Saturdays, after the Dead Poets Society meetings. Usually, Todd pulled back the curtains, letting the pale morning light spill into the room. The light would illuminate Neil’s hair, his pale skin turned pearlescent. Todd would slip on a pair of jeans and his favorite sweater, take a notebook and pencil. He would sit on his bed, cross legged, and write. Early mornings spent writing to his muse, who was asleep just a meter or two away.
