Summary
In the year 2199, Earth was dying from radioactive contamination until a message of hope arrived from Planet Iscandar. My alternate-universe take on the first original Space Battleship Yamato series, with a few bits thrown in here and there from Yamato 2199. The first installment of Book Zero of my "Galaxy Visions" alternate-universe of Space Battleship Yamato, which extends forward into time into the 2900's-the era of Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999.
Story being re-edited gradually to change the character names to Yamato names and also to add some specific scenes based on Yamato, cut from Star Blazers. This is sort of the fraternal twin to the version of this story I have up on FanFiction.net.

Summary
While trying to get his life together after being betrayed by Cheetara, Tygra, and Pumyra, Lion-O finds that the differences with his brother Tygra have turned into a Civil War covering much of Third Earth, and Mumm-Ra wants vengeance, and if that isn't bad enough, two huge space battleships (the North Carolina and the legendary Argo) forming a flotilla come through a time rift from their own time (the year 2214), end up on Third Earth to make repairs, and they get embroiled in the Civil War. Mutants and two Thundercat factions with fighter craft and steamships. Mumm-Ra cackling and casting spells. And which side do the two mighty space battleships from First Earth with their own fighter craft and wave motion guns take? And, on the slightly lighter side, the Captains of the two space battleships are happily married (for the most part) but occassionally drive each other up the wall. A story that gets curiouser and curiouser.

This story is explicit, although sweetly written. If one does not like explicit love scenes, the reader is recommended to stay away.

Summary
It is December 26, 2201. She was formally proposed to a month ago on the bridge of the burning space battleship Argo. By a miracle, they survived to get to the altar. The day after Christmas, newly promoted Captain Derek Wildstar weds Lt Nova Forrester, CRNP. Sweetness, fun, and some wedding fluff ensues with a sweet wedding night. The one discordant note; the happy newlyweds are trying to help put together the damaged psyche of Commander Mark Venture, one of their best friends, whose life was saved by Trelaina of Telezart, who took off for parts unknown, or died; no one is sure which.
Part Four of my Galaxy Visions Series. Note: The version of the wedding night posted is the...**clean** one. :-) I may post the unexpurgated part as a separate mature story with the appropos warnings.
Thanks to my wife of 24 years, Gail, for helping me with dribs and drabs of this. Written back in 1998 but constantly revised and tweaked, if that makes any sense...And, the late Derek Wakefield (the REAL Derek Wakefield, one of several non-biological brothers) helped me beta-read it.
