Summary
The history of the cats on Third Earth has always been complicated. Especially the connection between the Tiger and Lion clans. History repeats with tragedy but perhaps the chosen king's tale will not be the case. Lion-O and Tygra grow together but feel the confusing pull to one another and on their journey in seeing this relationship through they experience many obstacles. Along with this Lion-O’s burden becomes reality upon the return of Mumm-Ra and needing to defeat the old enemy to return the peace. The young king while developing a bond with the tiger also is joined with multiple allies and changes along the way. Though both Tygra and Lion-O will also have to face the past of their ancestors while overcoming the coming storm. Hopefully, the young king will see they are not alone…

Meanwhile, Lion-O wrestles with his father Claudus' increasing demands, with no Tygra there to share the duty. Basically, Hordak is Galra, a former Imperial scientist, and Shadow Weaver is Altean, they were part of a joint mission to find new planets together right before the war broke out between their two peoples. Mara was on the mission and was also Altean, and She-Ra had always been before that.
When they got news of the war breaking out, the crew of the research mission took sides. Hordak got most of them under his banner in Scorpia's Kingdom/The Fright Zone, along with some of the native people there, as the first generation of the Horde.
Mara tried to stop him, but couldn't, so she moved Etheria into a pocket dimension that no communications could get in or out of, to protect the Heart of Etheria from falling into Zarkon's hands.
Shadow Weaver tried to scheme her way into ruling Mystacor, and joined Hordak when that failed.
Ten thousand years passed.
Now, Light Hope has just moved Etheria back through the portal at the end of Season 4.
Instead of Horde Prime coming to Etheria and capturing Catra, Glimmer and Hordak, it's Zarkon. Events follow from there. -

This story, Aeon Crisis is about a multiversal crisis that will shake all of creation and it's up to Master Control, the team made to protect the multiverse to stop that from happening. Leaves Lion-O in a tough position not only mentally but physically as well, luckily for him there's a certain someone that will guide him to face his own demons and belive in himself to lead the fight against Mumm-Ra. The betrayer won't be doing much better either, haunted by her own choices and doubts.
