"Akira’s been thinking a lot about Jose lately.
Everything about the metaverse is strange, but there’s something about Jose that just rubs him the wrong way. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s a toddler driving a car, or that everything about him seems just a bit off from being truly human, like someone had started a drawing and the model had walked off before they could finish, leaving them to fill the rest of the blanks on their own."
Akira meets Jose in Mementos, and the two of them bond over eating fruit, having allergy attacks, and talking about humanity.
