Summary
Instead of Katsuki Bakugou getting kidnapped, Izuku Midoriya risks his life and ends up being taken by the League of Villains. A rescue is ensured, but instead they come face to face with Deku next to All for One, calling him "Sensei". They discover that Deku's memories had been altered from the point when Bakugou tells him that if he wants a quirk, he can jump off the school roof and be reborn with one. He believes he did just that, and was reborn with a powerful quirk that rivals Bakugou.
He'd never admit it, but Bakugou had been saved by Deku in more ways than one, so now can he return the favor?

Rudo shot him a glare sharp enough to cut steel, and maybe—maybe—Enjin had finally grown a few brain cells, because he seemed to get the memo and wisely shut up.
He took the opportunity immediately, slipping away before anyone could stop him, before anyone could look too closely. Because he could already feel that familiar, unbearable ache rising fast in his throat, it was suffocating his lungs as if something was squeezing them from the inside.
