Unbeknownst to Scaramouche and Childe, all of their friends’ eyes are on them right now, watching the scene unravel before them like a movie was playing. Layla had brought a cooler full of Capri Suns, handing out a pouch for each of them. They could be riding jet skis right now, but it was way more entertaining to be sitting by the shore, watching the two bicker and unintentionally flirt with each other as their friends casually sip from their Capri Suns.
“I bet 25,000 mora that they would end up together by the end of this trip.” Mona flips her hair over her shoulder, giving Heizou a look as she issues the challenge.
Heizou smirks as he takes his sunglasses off. “50,000 mora that it would be sooner than you think. Give them a day or two.”
“Deal.”
“Deal.”
The two of them shake hands, sealing the said deal. Now all they had to do was wait and see.
Alternatively
Scaramouche's friends play as matchmakers and set him up with the newbie from Finance, Childe. They insist that the two are 'perfectly made for each other'. However, the two hit it off on the wrong foot and immediately start hating each other instead.Bookmarked by frizzycatz

“Please, tell me this isn’t the last time I’m going to see you,” Childe bursts out.
Scaramouche feels a pang hit his chest, a deep ache settle into his bones. He does not reply.
“’Mouche,” Childe says, his voice shaking. “Tell me, and I’ll just shut up right now.”
Scara blinks. He opens his mouth to speak, and finds he has no words. His eyes begin to burn.
Childe is silent for a moment. He seems to be thinking about what he’s going to say. Scara knows him well enough to see him weighing pros and cons, worrying at it, biting his lip as he thinks.
“Scara, I . . .” He sighs.
“What?” Scara snaps.
