Summary
Aziraphale susses out Crowley's pre-Fall identity, as the Archangel Raphael. With this, he must rethink everything he thought he knew about the last six thousand years, about his own identity and his friend's, and even the Ineffable Plan. There is a fight, expressions of fear and hurt, reconciliation, yearning and confusion, and the sorts of questions that by all rights should cause an angel to Fall.
Also, at one point, Crowley admits he once lied about breeding rats for demonic ends.

Summary
“I just…I thought things would be different, you know?”
“They are different, Crowley,” Aziraphale pointed out, trying to be gentle about it. “The world’s still here for one.”
“No they aren’t,” Crowley growled, sitting up unsteadily to look more directly at Aziraphale who froze where he was. “Nothing’s different. Nothing that matters at least."
Crowley and Aziraphale react rather differently to the the not-end of the world. Aziraphale is determined to find out why.

When bumbling but well-meaning angel Aziraphale is reassigned to the Angel For Christmas programme, he is humiliated, but knows it's his last chance to prove himself as an angel before he loses his wings forever. He only has a few days in which to grant a child's Christmas wish, reconnect a broken family and earn back his angelic status.
No problem, right?
Well, it might not have been... if it hadn't been for the child's ill-mannered, grouchy, workaholic, Christmas-hating dad.
As Aziraphale races against the clock to try and restore his Christmas spirit and bring him closer to his son, he also finds himself struggling with some new and unexpected feelings of his own...

Summary
Aziraphale sagged where he stood, watching her go for far longer than was required, a feat made possible thanks to Heaven’s incessant lack of walls. Eventually, he slumped back to his ‘office,’ glancing around warily as he did. Angels went about their business in the distance, and certainly no one was paying him the slightest bit of attention.
He grabbed the spider plant and ducked down, crouching between his desk and the nearest partition. It wasn’t exactly snug but it took the stinging edge off his anxiety. He cradled the dying plant in his hands, and a tear spilled from his eye and landed on one of the wilting leaves. He brushed it away with his thumb.
The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming, and he clutched the plant closer still.
“Please,” he found himself begging, his voice barely above a whisper. “Please don’t give up on me. I need you to keep fighting. For me.”
The plant, lifeless in its plastic pot, gave no sign that it had heard.

Summary
The note was only two words. It was in his own hand, though he had no recollection of writing it.
“Find… Crowley.” He read aloud. “Who the Hell is Crowley?”
Or: Aziraphale and Crowley have both been on Earth for 6000 years, but meet for the first time eight years before the Apocalypse. They have to learn to work together fast, otherwise the world might end. But where have they seen each other before?
