Summary
Buck had always liked the nicknames Eddie used for him. He had particularly liked Cowboy, but since the lightning strike, Eddie didn’t use it anymore.
"Big Boy" was new, and got Buck all putty-like in Eddie’s hands, and he didn’t even know why. Eddie probably didn’t even mean it in any particular way. Afterall, he had no problem saying it in front of everybody else, so Buck didn’t know why it affected him so much.Bookmarked by frosasha

Something about that last part especially annoyed him because he felt like he could compete with that. Except now, he felt like he was.
