Summary
Suguru can’t feel the cold metal in his hands, but he knows that it’s there. He was the one who grabbed it. It’s a tiny victory, miniscule in the grand scheme of what he needs to do. But he holds onto it.
Or, Getou is the one who frees Gojo and what happens afterwards.

Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.
