Summary
After hanging out together in public, Akihiko's nightmare of being exposed to his school becomes a reality. Stressed over Harumi and Aki's friendship finally being discovered, they decide to cut ties on impulse, even if it was the last thing they wanted to do.
Kurose Harumi goes on with his life as usual, acting as if it never hurt to begin with. But Akihiko could not do the same. Having to bare this cracked mask 24/7, will he really be okay to walk home without Harumi from now on?

No. No. Makoto can indulge in a lot of wishful thinking, but he has to draw the line there. They are not dating, or anything close. He can’t be setting up his expectations like that, when Satoru won’t ever meet them. That’s not fair to him.
They’re not dating. They will never be dating. Satoru doesn’t like him like that. It’s never going to happen. Satoru likes girls. Nothing is going to happen.
This is Makoto’s mantra. But on a Friday, when Satoru asks him if they can talk about something, in private, behind the school, Makoto’s stomach fills back up with the beating of wings, anyway.

Summary
And on paper, this is such a stupid thing. It seems so melodramatic, to be passionately arguing in the middle of the street– oh if their classmates could see them now– over an all-nighter, over some exams. A moment they might not even remember in three years, probably won’t in five, definitely won’t in ten.
But it's more than that. Right now, this is important. Akihiko is important, and he's falling apart right before Harumi’s eyes. Earnestness isn't his strong suit, but this is something worth trying for. Worth being a little honest, really honest, for. Worth fighting the subsequent bite of shame for. Akihiko is worth that.
(Or, a study in how things sometimes have to get worse before they get better)

His hair was different, ruffled from combat and wind-swept instead of artfully styled the way Ivan’s had been when Till had seen him last - when Till had stood on that stage all those years ago. His clothes were different, a practical black coat and black combat boots made for constant movement, rather than snow white with showy dress shoes.
But his face was unmistakable.
The protagonist of his favourite novel wears Ivan's face, yet seems to have none of his memories. As such, Kim Dokja's - Till's - attempts to survive the apocalypse are complicated by the ghosts of a world he'd thought he'd left behind.
Yoo Joonghyuk, on the other hand, would really appreciate it if the censor on this new wild card's face could drop for just a second - maybe then he'd be able to figure out where he knows the painfully familiar man from.

He wonders if this is how Eurydice felt, wanting a tangible sign of Orpheus’ love, to know that he loved her to the point of losing her. Ivan wonders if Till’s gaze would immortalize him or pass right through him, forever in search of the pink hues of the dawn rather than midnight skies.
“You have no idea what you do to me,” Ivan whispers, helplessly caught in Till’s gravity. He thinks that this longing will consume him.

Summary
Till wasn’t unfamiliar with the wonder that Camp Half-Blood brings you when first lay your eyes on it.
The place — a safe haven for demi-gods like him and mythical creatures that he had believed to be hallucinations when he was younger — had the charm of mostly untouched nature and ancient Greek architecture. The air was clean and crisp, a nice contrast to the putrid New York City air that Till had grown up in. There were pegasi milling about, with satyr protectors keeping the camp up and running, and a multitude of activities that can suit any demigod’s tastes. So, really, Till understands the fantastical feeling you get when you first step into the camp. He gets that you would have a lot of questions.
But, seriously, can this kid calm down?

or: Till has been a resident at Camp Half-Blood for most of his life, so he's used to a certain routine at camp. That, however, is shaken when a new demigod arrives at camp, which tests both his patience and his ability to not get flustered every other moment.
